5Ks and Cookies

So the 5K DID NOT kill me (although at times it felt like it might lol). I did enjoy the time with my family, and I did not hate the "alone" time as much as I thought I would. Yes I ran most of it alone because my brother in law was sick so my nephew stayed home with him. Which was sad but in a way nice, because the whole thing was at my pace.

So last night, during my "I Finished!" high, I decided to get back on track about my eating. I have been allowing too many snacks to slip through the cracks. Either I track them, but don't exercise enough to cancel them out, or I don't track them and secretly pretend they didn't happen.

So of course today we got two more gifts at work (chocolate covered pretzels, and cookies!). and I am sorry, I am not really the "just say no to desserts" kind of gal! Thankfully I had a sensible breakfast, a light lunch (beans, salsa, cheese, and blue corn chips), and plan to have a light dinner (not really that hungry .... just have to keep the boredom snacking at bay.


Overall .... feeling pretty shiny today!

Starting Weight: 216 lbs
Current Weight: 191 lbs (got my new scale to use ALL THE TIME)

Tomorrow I will:

- behave at lunch at McCalister's Deli
- run/walk 3.1 miles on the treadmill before picking up H at daycare
- have fun at work ... gotta figure out something :)
