Yes ... you guessed it ... I gained :( obviously vacation and I do not get along lol Went to Chicago this weekend and drank myself back two pounds. I did do pretty well with my food but I need to learn to cut back on the drinks or make better choices on what I'm drinking (aka NOT hawiian punch mixed with champange and sherbert lol).
Overall though still feeling good, and ready to kick it into high gear this week ... goal: loose those two pounds + another = total of three ... If I loose 4 pounds I will post a side by side comparison shot of myself and buy a new top :) ... a little treat for everyone lol

Adventures with Chinese Food and Beer
I will not drink my calories ... the chinese food will not overpower me .... hmm, lots of mantras to repeat today ha!
Today is a co-workeers birthday lunch (decided yesterday ha!) and also girls night out with some friends. I have mapped out my food and beverages for the day but I am famous for going out (espeically after work functions) and not sticking to the plan. Tried to give myself some wiggle room but I might need to do some light workout when I get home tonight ... which would mean limiting the beer anyway, because I have played the "drink beers then run 10 minutes" game ... it ends badly!

Tomorrow I Will:
- run because I need to
- not go out to lunch to save money and calories
- pray I do not have to go into work at the store ha!

Sorry It's Been So Long
So i've gotten very busy and realized it's been 9 days since I last posted, so I will give some highs and lows of the last nine days:
Highs:
- I am down 19 lbs total .. and LOVING it!
- I finally posted a picture of myself on FB (and got such wonderful resposne from friends and family)
- Harley is doing well, and slowly getting rid of some of her puppy behaviors
- I am getting back in budget groove, and finding what works best for me (technology vs. old school)
Lows:
- not running as often as I should, took too many rest days last week
- getting a little loose with my eating habits when around friends
- drinking my calories (beer is good lol)
so obviously no one is perfect, and I have no goals of perfection. I will however strive to be the best me I can be (oh yeah I'm sure theres a cheesy song in their somewhere lol).
Hope you all had a great 9 days, and I will do better about blogging to entertain you all!

Anger Eating
a few weeks ago I went to a happy hour with a couple of friends and we discussed what we affectionatley call "Anger Eating" ha! Basically ti's when you are fed up with your day, your life at that point, or just anything in particular and you use good food to soothe that pain. The problem with this, we all agreed, is we do not "Anger Exercise" enough to balance the amount of "Anger Eating" we do.
This week was a great opportunity for me to fall into bad habits and anger eat myself out of all my progress. Work was no good, I felt stressed the entire week and just could not find a groove. Personal life kinda blew as well, I am single again and not happy about it. Just these reasons alone could cause a girl to go into a pizza and pop shame spiral REAL quick! I have done pretty okay, not a perfect week (there was for sure some pizza and frozen yogurt in my life to sooth my bruises) but I kept it together for the most part. I exercised, I went to my FPU lass, and I didn't slap anyone across the face (yes I was being called the "slap bandit" at work Friday because of some need to slap a few friends lol).
today I attempt the 10 minute run ... pray for me ... and my running partners because honestly they get my verbal backlash ha!

Tomorrow I Will:
- go to church with mom
- have a fun lunch with my mom
- NOT run (its a rest day)
- find an activity to make me happy once a week (no food!)

I Vanish When I turn Sideways
Okay so maybe not vanish ... but hey, I'm looking good any way you look at me ha! I am so pumped, weighed in on Sunday and lost 2 POUNDS!!!! 4.5 more pounds and I will post the "session 1" pictures ... session 1 goal: 20 lbs, session 2 goal: 20 lbs, session 3 goal: 30 lbs ... goal weight 140 lbs!
Today was not a great day ... feeling stressed and tired ... and my horseback ridding lesson was cancelled :( I will look on the bright side that its been a good calorie day for me, and I hope to finish it out strong.
Tonight I have an event to host but thankfully it won't go too late and not too many treats to tempt me away from that 1200 goal for the day :)

Today was a Test
So today since I have dance class from 6-7pm (thats right I call pole dance fitness "dance class") I did not want to make mom and brother wait for me to run. So I said I would try and run on my own this morning so I did not get behind .... I did it! Granted if you asked miss Harley she would say what I do is NOT running, but she's a dog, and FAST ... so she can suck my balls (had to make my sister laugh).
the point is, I was tested, and I aced it! I may not be a fast runner, I may still hate running, but I did it! Also at one point Harley stopped, I continued running, so to prove a point that I was NOT faster than her, she ran ahead of me grabbed the end of her leash closest to her collar and tugged as if to say "let's go tubby!" ... I love that girl!
I didn't have a great food day (bagel, and pizza) but not TOO bad (I had a salad, got no dressing, one slice pizza, and had reduced fat cc on the good grain bagel).

Tomorrow I will:
- not gorge at the Indian buffet at lunch (its SOOO good!)
- figure something special for my mom on her and dads anniversary
- hug Harley extra tight for being exactly the puppy she is :)

Queen of the World
I LOST WEIGHT!!!! and not just a little bit ... 1.2lbs ... which means I lost the .7 I gained last week PLUS another .5 lbs!!! I'M QUEEN OF THE WORLD!!!!
okay so appreantly being around my sisters family means I eat like a 9 year old ha! Not always a bad thing since many of those food aredelcious, they just dont always agree with my digestive system or weight loss goals. Also this was the first week of no kitchen at my office ... 7 more weeks to go. I have come up with a couple solutions to this issue, but the first week was a bear!
Starting WEgiht: 210 lbs
Current Weight: 196.5 lbs
Tomorrow I will:
- eat breakfast
- Day 3 of training for a 5K with mom and brother (yes I still maintain those that run for fun are sick in the head!)
- not go out for lunch
- give myself a deadline to make the apartment decision
